Campus

The school premises cover an area of 20 Ropanies (109520 Sq. ft.). Within its premises, the school has facilities for a number of games including volleyball, basketball and table tennis. School premise is enclosed with the boundary wall.

Bhanubhakta Society

It is an association of ex &ndash students of Bhanubhakta school formed in 1990 with a view to involving high school pass-outs in a various of social service programmes, thus enhancing their chance of winning scholarship for overseas studies. The society also organizes talk programme, social works such as blood donation, fund raising, etc. and provides career-counselling to its members.

Teacher Training and Research Cell

With a view to raising the standard of education, the school has set up a teacher training and research cell which is responsible for training the teachers in their respective areas, and at the same time to help them apply or adapt them in their classrooms. This is believed to be bona fide step towards quality education as the teacher is the most important factor in the total educational process. Quality education comes from qualified, up-to-date and appropriately trained and research oriented teachers.

ELT Resource Centre

Effective English Language teaching and learning requires among other things adequate resources for the teachers to allow them adapt materials for the students whenever they feel the need of. The school, therefore, has set up a well-equipped ELT Resource Centre in the school. The centre also runs sessions for the students for practicing conversational English.

Benefactors, 1989

Miss Gita Rana of Thamel, Kathmandu, a former teacher of this school has opened a Fixed Deposit Account on behalf of Bhanubhakta Memorial Higher Secondary School. The Interest of this donation is to be granted to the students who secure one of the top ten positions in the SLC examination every year.

Mr. Shyam Bahadur Pandey, the then Chairman, Hotel Shangri-la, has donated Rs. 100,000 to construct a garden on the school campus.

Lions Club of Himalayas, Patan donates Rs. 3,000 annually as scholarship grant for deserving students, who are selected on merit-cum-means basis.

The school possesses a sound, proficient, trained and well-experienced team of instructional as well as administrative staff to discharge their duties to enhance its academy in the community.
