- to develop the overall personality of its pupils;
- to prepare them ideal and well-cultured citizens;
- to develop their vocational skills and
- to provide intellectual training for admittance to higher education.
Of these, no (iv) being a widely held pupil aspiration, is given top priority by the school policy makers and curriculum designers. This doesn’t imply that other aspects of education are overlooked. They too, get the attention and effort they deserve.
Care is taken to bring out the best in every child through a variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities so that the citizens we prepare are:
- Intellectually cultured,
- Emotionally stable,
- Physically fit,
- Spiritually conscious and
- Socially responsible and useful.
To meet these objectives effectively, the school provides regular in-service training to its instructional and administrative staff. Existing physical and other facilities both for the staff and the students are continually added to and updated.
Innovations and research findings in the fields of education worldwide are adapted and introduced wherever practicable.
Besides, Department of Assessment and Recording, responsible for developing standardized tests for all grades levels, is created. This requires teachers to geat their teaching to meet the set standards of achievement for pupils at each level. This department also maintains Comprehensive Dossiers of all the students from classes Nursery – XII. This record will be available for reference even after a pupil graduates and leaves school.
